6.3:1 Zoom Ratio -- Boasting magnifications from 0.8x to 5x, the twin zooming objective optical system developed exclusively by Nikon provides a zoom ratio of 6.3:1. Click stops at 1x intervals allow observation at optimal magnification.
45-Degree Eyepiece Inclination -- The SMZ645 has a 45-degree eyepiece inclination for comfortable observations.
Long Working Distance Auxiliary Objectives -- Six high quality auxiliary objectives are available for the SMZ645, ranging from 0.29x to 2x to provide a wide range of magnification options and long working distances. An ergonomic auxiliary objective is also available that can be adjusted to the users eye level.
Ergonomics -- From the built-in diopter adjustment on the eyepieces to the gracefully curved stands with low positioned focus knobs, the SMZ645 is built to eliminate stress and allow the user to work in a comfortable, natural position.
Stands -- A wide variety of ergonomic stands are available from plain focusing stands to boom stands to sophisticated diascopic stands assuring that you will always be able to find the right stand for the right job.
Built-in 0.5x C-Mount -- Directly mount video and digital cameras, without the need for additional couplets or adapters (1/2" or smaller cameras)
6.3x Zoom Ratio Offers Magnifications from 0.8x to 5x -- By using twin zooming objective optics developed exclusively by Nikon, the SMZ660V incorporates a convenient 6.3x zoom ratio, enabling observations at just the right magnification.
Long Working Distance -- The SMZ660V offers a long working distance of 115mm (4.5 in.) and optional auxiliary objectives can extend working distance to 311mm.
Variety of Stands and Focus Mounts -- There are a wide variety of stands and focus mounts available for all applications. For laboratory and manufacturing bench tops, focus stands are streamlined and comfortable with low position focus knobs. Three types of focus mounts can be mounted on Nikon boom stands or they can be easily added to other instruments for systems integration.
